Clock known as a "night light" (luminous) clock in finely chiselled gilt bronze on a column decorated with foliage, holding at arm's length the dial (in green frosted glass) surrounded by a frieze, cockerel movement, signed Samuel Weldon 1740-1780,18th century period (source British Museum).
This clock is in good condition and very decorative. The movement doesn't work. No key.
The light behind the Roman numeral dial made it possible to read the time at night. No cracks on the dial glass.
