The company: The company was founded in 1965 by Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz De Santillana. The latter was also the artistic director of Venini (he also was husband to Anna Venini, daughter of Paolo Venini, the founder of the Venini company and father to Laura Diaz De Santillana, who also became a designer at the Venini family company). The VeArt company manufactured artistic glass until the early 1990s. During its brief history, the company’s artistic director was Mario Ticco from Venini, who developed important collaborations with world-famous artists and designers like Toni Zuccheri, Umberto Riva, Tobia Scarpa and many more.
