Very pleasant looking classic compact floor standing speaker, which produces a big sound with a huge soundscape and stunning bass. Finished in the typical Castle style, beautiful wood veneer, a real ‘Brit’ to look at and hear. The speakers cost 2000 euro at the time, and that was for a good reason! The speakers are finished in real yew veneer, looks beautifully chic. The tonality of the Avons consists of a neutral high-end, slightly relaxed vocal midrange and extremely tight bass. The bass port is at the bottom of the speaker cost, so the deep tones are completely radiated around. With a sleek construction and no less than 23 kg per speaker, this provides minimal resonance and very tight music reproduction. They are real super all-rounders which can easily handle any kind of music. The speakers are finished in real yew veneer, looks beautifully chic. A stylish speaker! The speakers are on (screwable) spikes. The speakers have been tested for a long time and are 100%. I am making a comment for a speaker which has a scratch in the veneer on the back of the side. I have made this visible in the photo, but this does not stand out at all because of the location of the scratch. Other than that, the speakers look great. When shipped, the speakers will be packaged firmly and professionally and shipped with track and trace by insured mail.
