2x Motorcycles Scott Flying Squirrel from ca. 1935. DPY 5128 is a 600 cc engine from 1948. The other engine number is not matching normal Scott numbering (no prefix on the 178864), therefore it could be 500 cc or 600 cc. But the type is correct, because Scott made the same basic design for over 50 years! Incomplete items, with many spare parts, as shown by pictures. Imported from Argentina 30 years ago in different boxes. Recently assembled using available parts and components. Both have proper carburettors. 1 carburettor with separate lubrication. 3x (incomplete) engines. 1 has TT type front fork (silver chassis). 1 has Brampton front fork (blue chassis). 1 of the engines is complete - 1 gearbox only. 1 chassis is probably a racing model - tall steering headset pipe. Both have long Flying Squirrel chassis, which was introduced for the 1926 TT. Since 1927, chassis could be ordered as Flying Squirrel type. These models used the 3-speed gearbox and heavy fork. Year of construction of these chassis may be around the 1930s (from 1927 to the late 1930s). Both have incorrect front wheels, but proper rear wheels. Extra spare parts: 2 extra magnets, oil pumps, central flywheel, pedestal, carburettor and many correct parts for this model. They can be viewed near Udine - Italy.
