Fine and elegant Masonic Tile in Istria Marble, finely decorated and crafted by hand, depicting the typical Freemasonry symbols, set square and compass (basic tools needed to create stable and precise buildings).
Dating back to the second half of the 18th century, from Venice (Masonic lodge founded in 1746) and located on the wall of a room, at one of the Masonic meetings and ceremonies places. The collection includes tiles which are very similar in dimensions, with some symbolic variations.
The set square is said to depict the matter, while the compass is a symbol for spirit or mind.
