A very large and heavy, late 18th, early 19th century Spanish silver inkwell
Made in Granada, around 1800, with marks of Campos (esayer)
This large inkwell is made of extremely heavy gauge silver, hence its weight of almost 1.1 kilo’s! The detailing is very fine.
The set consists of:
- sand container
- plume container
All parts are in excellent condition, with only some tarnishing (see pictures).
A piece of this quality is rare.
