The original antique prayer booklet is finished with a double silver clamp closure. It has convex silver ornamental nails on front and back, book cover has silver lace/edge fittings. The cover is finished with convex ornamental nails in bunch-of-grapes model, also called angel tears. The prayer book has a maroon leather bordeaux/red book cover with blind- and gold stamps with line frames and back ornaments, gold on the cut.

No silver hallmarks found but that is common in early small silverware - see books such as "Nederlands Klein Zilver en Schepwerk” by B. W. G. Wittewaall.
