Vittorio Stoppa was born and studied in Genoa. In 1966, he participated in the first Adifad industrial design competition in Barcelona.
The artist is best known for his marine subjects and Mediterranean architecture, with beaches marked by bathing huts, umbrellas and deck chairs. The painting depicts the ‘cadaques’, Spanish houses with snow white walls, everything in an atmosphere of suspension and waiting. We can say Vittorio Stoppa paints atmospheres.
