MG TD 1953.
This MG is in a super original condition which is rarely seen, it still has its original paintwork, no rust and is in an unrestored and driving condition.
This MG comes from the Bakersfield area in California where it is very dry and almost never rains.
It is therefore in a dry and rust-free condition, bottom and woodwork are also solid and damage-free.
This MG stood still as of 1979 until it was shipped to the Netherlands.
The condition was very good, so much so that only the brakes were replaced. And the wheel bearings and headlights were replaced to meet European standards.
The car has already been approved by the Dutch Vehicle Authority (the RDW) and now has a Dutch license.
Everything on this car is original and untouched.
All factory plates and engine numbers are in place.
The MG has a beautiful patina with here and there some overly polished spots and pitting in the paintwork which fits the current trend of not restoring a car in its entirety.
So, in our opinion, you should leave it like this.
Interior and dashboard are still original with nice traces of wear.
The side windows were still in the storage back in the back and are in near mint condition! 65 years old.
The convertible top is intact and works properly.
Engine and gearbox in working condition, not revised, which is not necessary.
Just put on your bomber jacket, hat and goggles and drive with the windshield down.
This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Nieuwleusen, the Netherlands.
