Each on 37 x 31-cm drawing paper.
Information: Gaston Coppens learned sculpture at the ‘Ecole Boulle’ school and quickly started drawing, particularly in pastel, his graphics bearing the characteristics of his training: relief, light and harmony.
Settled in Boulogne-Billancourt, he took part in many art fairs: Vrais indépendants, Société des peintres de montagne, Société nationale d'horticulture.
Several galleries dedicated personal exhibitions to his work among which the prestigious Bernheim-Jeune gallery (historical gallery of the Impressionists: Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse), but also the Galerie Royale and the Galerie Pittoresque.
