Interesting very large silver - verge pocket watch - silver tested with test liquid - at least 0.800 silver.
Fine very well preserved top casing - tortoise shell Complete silver spike circle on the back and complete except for one spike on the front. Silver decorative circle - handmade. Silver opening button.
Fine white enamel dial with typically strong (Alpine) Roman numerals in black. Dot minute scale running around the outside - dial is perfectly preserved. Gold-coloured filigree baroque hands.
Hinged towards the front, large, fire-gilded movement. Artistically engraved plate and fine floral verge cocks. Speed adjustment on silver disc. Signature Carl Josef Uhrmacher (watchmaker).
Movement with key winding - functions (time has not been measured)
Mighty watch with 74 mm without pedant - 90 mm with pedant. Weight 187 g.
Very good condition. A collector's watch more than 300 years old and still in great condition.
